If you are constantly scoring less than 50 percentile then problem is with your basics, you need to strengthen your basics then only you can aim for high level questions and tackle to attempt questions with speed and accuracy. One more thing is that you are not analysing your mock test without that you can never increase your percentile. After giving every test you need to check out the whole test solution which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to attempt your paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile. Just make sure you diversify your risk by appearing for exams like XAT, JMET etc. I got a measly 68%ile in CAT2004 because I got nervous but I got healthy 95%ile plus scores in XAT and nice rank in JMET.
