Hello experts, I have a client the bought a cutter model mutoh sc-1300 6 years ago. With this cutter he purchase the software casmate pro but after all these years he has lost the cd and the license. Also he changes all the pcs with windows 7 pro 64bit. So the problem is that he must now buy a software to use with this plotter but everything we searched are very expensive.
The basic software that he uses is corel draw X4. But it cant work with a plotter. Do you have any idea how we can use the plotter. The connection with the pc is with Com1 port. Is there any freeware we can use or a software with small ammount? As i told in my question I found software like this one.

For example I had allready found this one too. Its not so difficult if someone search for MUTOC SC 1300 SOFTWARE to find 2 or 3 softwares to do his job including this one. But as i asked i need something cheap and not something to rent or to sell the plotter to buy the software. So i think that this question must be deleted because it doesnt give a solution that someone couldnt find. Also with some searches more someone can do his job in linux cause there are some tricks not so easy of course to make this plotter works.

Author Topic: CASMATE PRO will not output to plotter! Visitor Member # 685 posted June 02, 2004 04:43 PM I have Casmate Pro 6.04. All of a sudden, it won't output to my plotter (Roland 1860). When I hit plot, the loading bar appears, then I get the message: CAS_WIN caused a general protection fault in module PLOTMATE.DLL at 00a. Then, Casmate shuts down. When I close down the computer, I get the message: Fatal Exception OE has occured at 0028:C0034FE3 in VDX IFSMGR(01)+0000297 I rebooted, then tried plotting by using the 'plot to comm' option (in the plot window) which worked, but only once. Then I recieve the same message, and Casmate shuts down.
I tried reionstalling the drivers, didn't work. Reinstalled Casmate, now the icon is gray where you choose the plot options. I've got to get up and running, especially since I'm leaving on vacation Friday morning! Any help would be greatly appreciated! -------------------- Tim Whitcher Adrian, MI From: Adrian, MI Registered: Mar 1999 IP: Visitor Member # 4704 posted June 02, 2004 04:54 PM I really wish I could help. We use the same software and have had that problem in the past.
Usually a reboot takes care of it. I have called ScanVec Amiable and they will only talk if I give them a credit card number. Kinda sounds like some Gerber threads I have read in the past.

I take it your computer is getting up there in age as well. My Flexi kinda did the same thing and I upgraded it to the latest (V6 at the time and they let me keep the old dongle), I thought my dongle went bad, for the heck of it (months later)I put it on my wifes compuuter and it worked fine, I toore the old computer down and nooticed my port went bad. With older software like that and an old computer you might try another older computer, but even if that works, you are looking at a software that is no longer supported or made so if you get it to work start archiving your files too.ai or.eps while you have the chance or upgrade to flexi which II believe opens.scv files. Either way your gonna have to pay. -------------------- Rick Chavez Hemet, CA From: Hemet,CA U.S.A.
