We need some clarification. I'm guessing you need Open Source software to create reports, not Crystal Reports. Only Crystal reports outputs in Crystal Reports format. I did some searches for you and it it got me to thinking.if you're going to *create* reports.then you must own the data. If you own the data, why create crystal Reports at all. Use one of the other OSS programs to build your own reports in a non-proprietary format like HTML, PDF, or whatever. There may be a reason to create Crystal Reports (specifically) like a viewer of some sort on the user's end that I don't know about so you may *need* to output in Crystyal Reportsd format.
